We're Coconuts For You

Growing up in the Philippines, known to be a wonderland for foodie enthusiasts (like me) allowed me to explore and enjoy a variety of mind-blowing cuisines which I have grown love, from Puto to Adobo to Halo-Halo.

A must-try dessert I can never forget is the famous Buko Pie my family buys whenever we go on a road trip. I could personally finish half the pie in just one sitting! This and Taho are my favorite Filipino desserts.

My name is Tricia Tan, 17 years old, the eldest and only daughter of four and I’ve lived in the Philippines my entire life.

During the start of the pandemic, multiple businesses were shut down, including ours. But the Lord blessed us with all the supplies and things we needed to remain productive. At first, our main objective was to help the coconut farmers of Quezon, as they were losing a ton of income due to the lack of customers caused by the outbreak. We helped them by selling coconuts around Pasig and Quezon City. This took up an abundant amount of time and effort until we managed to find a better way.

My mom and I were able to formulate the perfect Buko Pie taste and consistency that will leave you wanting for more. This Buko pie unlike any other is filled with fresh coconut meat, topped with a delightful golden-brown crust, with a special added twist of French ingredients, giving it that perfect creamy consistency.

I prefer it chilled but others like it warm and heated up. It’s not loaded with sugar and cornstarch, instead, it is full of fresh coconut meat and milk. We don’t add unhealthy preservatives to let you savor the real taste of Buko.

As they say, “High-quality food for High-quality people” It’s super “Sulit” and worth the wait!
